Dalesbury is a spacious double-fronted Victorian family house in Wandsworth.
Through the imposing front door, you enter into a wide entrance hall with tall elegant doors leading to a study finished in Farrow and Ball Downpipe grey. It has a vintage French country kitchen table, a wide bookshelf and quirky art resembling exotic animal heads hanging on the wall.
On the right hand side, there is the formal drawing room with a beautiful original fireplace facing vintage French tub armchairs in a Christopher Farr fabric.
Down the hallway, you can find a huge open-plan kitchen with grey limed oak floor, old Czech factory lights and a 5-meters long kitchen island, finished with majestic Carrara marble – it would make a fantastic space for culinary shoots!
The whole area has a perfect Scandi aesthetic with a neutral palette, mixing originally designed modern furnishings with more rustic pieces.
The rear of the kitchen is nearly 4 meters high with four gorgeous tall doors painted in Railings Farrow and Ball, leading out to the garden. A grey oak kitchen table seats 10 with wishbone chairs, vintage lights above and a panelled wall at one end.
The area also includes an original working gas fireplace and sofa area, as well as a piece of artwork portraying an adorable puppy.
A sisal carpet runs up the stairs, walls are light and the balustrade is painted in contrast Downpipe grey.
The master bedroom is wonderfully calming and elegant with a striking ensuite bathroom featuring Carrara marble, gorgeous large white bath and walk-in shower.
The first floor also includes a guest bathroom with reclaimed concrete tiled floor and roll top bath. The second floor has two kids rooms and shower room.
To the back of the house is a garden with a wide terrace with an L shaped seating area and fire pit, plants, a large willow tree at the rear and a trampoline. A side gate with street access is useful for taking equipment to the back.
