Introducing Fleur, a modern house with Victorian roots in East London. This shoot location combines period charm and contemporary styling, complete with a lush, multi-zoned garden, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor shoots.

The focal point of the property is a large, modern extension with an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area. The kitchen centres on a statement island with an integrated hob, doubling as a breakfast bar. A tiered plant display creates a subtle divide between the lounge and dining area, the dining area, where a crisp white dining table contrasts with the warm wooden panels and deep olive-hued worktop. These elements tie seamlessly with the full-height cabinets and splashback tiles in the background, creating a cohesive contemporary aesthetic. The space is bright, airy, and refined, with concrete flooring. The space includes a wooden, shelf-lined pantry, with warm countertops and bold black walls, revealed through fluted glass doors. An earthy colour palette and the abundance of plants soften the clean lines, while sliding doors blur the boundary between the indoors and lead to the outdoors.

Outside, the landscaped garden, designed in layered sections, is a standout feature. The first patio features lounge seating and a long burner, a paved path leading to an outdoor kitchen area framed by lush planting, with mature greenery, banana trees, and ferns creating a natural backdrop. Beyond lies a generous lawn, and finally an outhouse with decking, offering flexible shoot possibilities across multiple backdrops.

The formal reception is a contrast with Victorian proportions featuring high ceilings, wooden flooring and sash windows. Here, you’ll find a spacious double lounge offering versatile spaces, starting with a stylish sitting room with an original fireplace, wood panelling and cornice. The second lounge connects through a wide opening, extending naturally from the first room. It carries the same warm hues and wood panelling, while offering something a little different with a monochrome rug, a grand piano, and built-in storage.

At the far end, a bold yet welcoming sunroom, painted in a deep burgundy with a skylight feature, adds character and floods the space with natural light. Additionally, the downstairs includes a WC and a utility/cloakroom.

A staircase in the hallway takes you upstairs. The modern style continues into two spacious children’s rooms, including an ensuite in one of the rooms. The family bathroom is a standout feature, showcasing a statement freestanding cast-iron bath set against deep green panelled walls, with a stone-clad shower area completing the space. This floor also houses a loft suite, offering a retreat space decorated in deep olive tones with its own ensuite, providing a refined setting.

Throughout, the mix of period charm and striking modern design, combined with the versatile garden spaces, makes this house an exceptional location for lifestyle, interiors, and brand shoots.
