Billie is the perfect embodiment of a modern family shoot location house.
It is modern, but quirky, airy yet cosy and is decorated to absolute precision. The kitchen diner is one of it s biggest selling points being such a large open space, exposed to heaps of natural light from the huge crittal windows on the walls and a large glass ceiling. The white concrete floor and the bare walls offer a Scandinavian vibe, contrasting with the pink kitchen cabinets and the multi-coloured dining room chairs.
This seems to be a theme throughout the house, as each room offers rather neutral and modernist bones, but is brought to life by these pops of colour and lots of tropical foliage.
Similarly, in the living room, the traditional sash windows, shutters and par quet flooring are accented and revitalised by trendy wall art, an eclectic bookcase and a variety of houseplants.
The rear of the kitchen opens onto a small manicured garden area complete with palm tree, which offers lovely views back to the modern rear extension.
Billie is so special because it is refreshingly state of the art, but doesn’t feel overdone and conformist.
Very close to Kensal Green and Kensal Rise stations, Billie is easily accessible by public transport and close to numerous shops and cafes. The owners are happy to accept large-scale filming at this location.
