Owned by a photographer, Bromley House is a lovely eclectic shabby chic style shoot location in South London. To get to this property there are regular trains from London Victoria or Blackfriars and the journey takes around 20 minutes. From Bromley South station it's a 10-15 minute walk to the location. For those who prefer to drive, there is parking for up to 3 cars in the driveway.
Full of original features and quirky furniture, this house offers something quite unique when looking for unusual places to shoot. Inside the house you'll find wooden flooring, period fireplaces and white walls throughout. The seating gives some interesting touches of colour and this is backed up by more rustic wooden pieces. The large kitchen has white rustic style units accented by pale blue French Doors, a tiled floor and a white beamed ceiling and this theme continues into the large living room area that features a fireplace and large bay sash windows. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also finished in white, with white bed linen and more wooden flooring.
Perhaps the real jewel of this location house can be found in the lovely large and mature garden, which features a conservatory, a beautiful summerhouse and a quirky caravan, all furnished with an array bright and unusual furniture.
Although shooting at Bromley House will involve an element of travel to get there, once you arrive you'll be blessed with the kind of shoot backdrop experience that will be hard to find anywhere else.
