Blackwood House has a simple, modern and stylish interior in neutral blues, browns and greys with modern technology and furniture.
The exterior of this North London shoot location is clad and decked in black stained wood. The house includes a very private garden, which is evergreen for all year round shooting and the proximity of this allows lots of natural daylight to flood in. The kitchen and dining area are open-plan and modern and face the courtyard garden.
There are also large windows, with very green landscape views and good light. The owner is a photographer and self-confessed minimalist, so the house was designed with shoots in mind and allows clients to impose their own style on their shots without lots of clutter to move around. There are tasteful pieces of furniture, such as the Eames chair in the lounge area, which looks out over the trees through the full-width window.
Access is good at this location, with a wide front door and double-height loading doors and there are a great selection of gastro pubs within close walking distance. The owners are happy to provide tea and coffee and there is a clothes rail and ironing board available.
