Hobbs is a Victorian semi-detached, four-bedroom house with oodles of character.
The Southeast London shoot location has a distinctly vintage style, with many original features. As with many of the rooms within Hobbs, the ground floor’s double reception rooms contain beautiful cornicing and wood panelling on the walls, as well as two period marble fireplaces.
A highlight of this location has to be the large DeVOL kitchen with a gorgeous cream and burgundy colour scheme running throughout. There’s a distinct country feel to the kitchen/ diner space, with the farmhouse sink, antique décor, and parquet flooring. The dining area is bathed in soft sunlight by the French doors, leading out to the 100ft patio and garden.
Up on the first floor, there’s a spacious bathroom with chequered marble flooring, containing both a roll top bath and a tiled walk-in shower area. The pale blue panelled walls and the dark red bathtub add a gentle pop of colour to the space. The earth-toned bedroom on this floor contains another original fireplace.
The second floor is comprised of a large landing, with an office area and two double bedrooms, all with warm colours and vintage details.
Hobbs has space on the front driveway for one small car to park, and unrestricted parking in the street.
