Introducing Montgomery, a Victorian house with a modern double height L-shaped rear extension, designed by Norman Foster in glass, painted white inside and out.
There is a polished concrete lower floor and a bespoke kitchen in tiger oak and walnut with black work-tops.
A seating area with large sofa and double window seats faces the garden, with a hidden television that sinks into the ground. Full length is 14m x 6m (into seating area). A space full of beautiful natural light, with lots to shoot through, including greenery that can be moved for shots.
Above is a mezzanine level with oak floor walkway leading to a desk and shelving, which allows for top shots and other interesting angles of the area below.
Outside there is a large sunken patio at the lower level with a floating bench seat in teak and an upper balcony facing the garden. Garden is L-shaped, laid to lawn 35m x 25m (into L-shape).
The lush green landscaped garden features clever design elements, including steps leading to an additional pergola patio seating area. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the last two steps are floating, adding a unique touch to the landscape. Additionally, a pond has been seamlessly integrated into the garden design, enhancing its natural beauty.
Adjacent to the garden, and accessed by more floating steps, a new addition catches the eye: a cabin equipped with a gym and kitchen/desk space. This versatile area is available upon request.
A separate bedroom area can also be available for use as a green room etc and there are two adjoining Victorian style rooms on mezzanine level for equipment.
Other highlights include plenty of Victorian features throughout the house as well as two fires, one working log burner and one open fireplace that is not in use.
