Faberge is the ideal film location: a red brick Georgian stately home with a few Victorian alterations.

Faberge is an elegant country home and only 18 miles from Central London. The estate can provide secluded privacy, ample courtyard parking for up to 30 vehicles, immaculate expanse of lawn on the South and West side of the property, an area of woodland and additional accommodation for production crews with four spare bedrooms in adjoining cottages.

When you enter the property, you are welcomed by a bright yellow hall, a host of extremely intriguing artwork, a checkerboard marble floor and majestic furniture.

The drawing room is carpeted throughout with Turkish/Persian rugs on top. The working fireplace features a splendid marble surround from the late 18th century. An interesting fact about this room: it has been visited before by heads of state, prime ministers and other notable historical figures of the 18th and 19th century. The room is octagonal in shape and hung with period paintings, landscapes and portraits.

Off the drawing room is the library – a very cosy space, lined with book cases. It also features an elegant non-working fireplace, several pieces of art and pretty floral curtains and sofa.

On the ground floor, you can also find the dining room. In front of the large mirrors on either side of the door of the room, there are two notable marble console tables and large white porcelain urns positioned on them. The space is painted in a gorgeous turquoise green and is decorated with yellow silk curtains and has more antique furniture. It includes a large table that can seat 12 people and matching period Italian dining chairs; there is also a non-working marble fireplace.

Off the corridor, there is a unique 1970’s kitchen finished with yellow laminate units, a white kitchen counter and man-made light green and white tiles.

The staircase leading to the first floor is carpeted and has an elegant banister.

On the first floor there is the master bedroom with a large four-poster bed and the master bathroom, finished with 1970s pink basins and a pink bath. There are also 3 more bedrooms and a further bathroom.

Another notable feature of this place is the beautiful indoor swimming pool. The whole room is painted in bright yellow, has colourful paintings on the wall, several art pieces and seashells.
